Sharp was raised within Rochester (New York) and embraced music. While at the Hochstein School of Music, she was a student of clarinet, cello and piano. Sharp's passion for theatre during her high school years was what led her to the Boston Conservatory where she was awarded an award. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. Sharp's initial focus was on the stage. Sharp was a part of her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted Off Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. In the improv comedy Eat the Runt, she took on eight different characters. Sharp's other theatre appearances include Abyssinia and Aida. Sharp's work is not limited to the stage or screen. Sharp also wrote and co-written several projects. Sharp is still performing and is currently working on the full-length album. Sharp is a fan of fitness. She keeps herself fit through training in boxing, learning Krav Maga, and taking long road trips. Sharp is a resident of Los Angeles.
