Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
When she was initially inspired through the shadows she saw in the grasses of trees and the shadows she saw on the trees, she set out to create a method that did not depict the subject in a 2-dimensional picture. When the objects are alive or perishable like humans and fruits and other objects, they are transformed into paintings of their own. The transient nature of her painterly style is obvious and the only thing that remains in Alexa Meade's works is a photographs. The painting and the photographic techniques are so closely coordinated that the result is an unflat, 2-dimensional space, which achieves trompe l'oeil, wherein the third dimension can only be seen in certain areas like near the eyes or in hair. Sometimes, Meade integrates her painted models with the 3-dimensional world around them, allowing them to interact within their own self-created environment. In this way, she blurs the lines between photography, painting performance and installation.
