Her parents are Cynthia Morton and Clyde Raymond Pickler. Her birth parents were the mother of 16 years. It was a difficult childhood for Pickler as her father was addicted to alcohol and drugs while Pickler's mother had left her when she was just 2. Morton had the opportunity to take the custody of Pickler for two years. However, Pickler acknowledged that not everything was going well.
